David has more than 10 years of coaching and instructing experience. He has had a hand in training some of the most elite players who have gone to play for the NBA, NBA D-League and overseas. He spent two years under the tutelage of NBA Champion Head Coach Jaren Jackson. In addition to coaching he had a stellar college career at James Madison University and Southern New Hampshire University. He has played professionally in Puerto Rico, Singapore, Canada, and the United States.
A native of Chicago, Spears played in two of the best NCAA conferences in the U.S., at the University of Illinois and St. John’s University. Basketball has taken him all over the globe as he has played for Portugal, Jordan, and Sweden just to name a few. He earned a spot on the Chicago Bulls mini camp roster NBA D-League.
Daryll “Showtime” Hill
Daryll Hill, an extraordinary basketball player who graduated St. John’s University with a 4 year degree in business and sports management. “The heart and soul of the team” scored over 1,000 points in his starting career. MVP of the Holiday Festival in Madison Square Garden, made the All Big-East team, nominating and leading the big east in scoring averaging 20.7 points per game.

With his passion for basketball and helping kids get better in the sport, he spent sixteen years as a volunteer
coach with the not for profit Etobicoke Basketball Association. He was on the Board of Directors for ten years
while he was there, over seeing the grades 4 to 8 rep teams, helped guide coaches, managed team expectations,
ensuring all finances, and budget are met for each team, organized year end banquet for the teams, recognized
MVP, acknowledge all volunteers like himself who gave their times back to the community. Tai head coached
competitive teams (U10-U19) for the past eighteen years, he's trained and coached elite players at the preparatory level, have worked with some pro players as well building their physical conditioning. His philosophy has always about hard work, team first, encouraging communication, and leadership from the players. He has strong organization skills, he is caring, and determined to help players get better through steady progression with an organized process.
Former Sheridan Bruins standout, Jahmal had been OCAA men’s basketball and overall male athlete of the week before, named OnPoint performaner of the game during his NBL tribute. He’s been with Windsor Express, Saint John Reptide in the NBL Canada league, played in China as well.

He was the Assistant Coach in 2004 to 2008 at Brock University for the Women’s basketball team, and became head coach from 2008-2015 and had successful years transforming the team into one of the top women’s team in OUA while he was there. Highlights of his career as a coach:

Coach Brandon Lesovsky previously Head Coach at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville for 3 years and has been a Head Coach in Pro Leagues in the USA and Canada the past 2 years. While the Head Coach at the Athlete Institute, Coach Brandon helped AI win the inaugural OSBA championship while players such as Thon Maker of the Milwaukee Bucks, Nikola Djogo (University of Notre Dame), Cole Long (University of Detroit), Matur Maker (playing professionally in Slovenia), and Miles Seward (#1 pick in this past years NBL Canada draft), as well as numerous other players that played University in Canada and the United States. As a native of Kansas, Coach Brandon was an assistant coach at several levels in the United States before coming to Canada
Brandon Chau is currently a second-year student in the Communication and Marketing program at Wilfred Laurier University; after he graduates with this bachelor degree, he is looking to obtain a Sports and Management degree as well. He was a player and student since the organization started and continue to train with the program since. He loves basketball; he loves helping the young kids with training and development and continues to give back by volunteering his time to Evolution Basketball. Brandon started as an assistant coach and became a head coach two years ago. He helped the U14 boys in 2018-2019 to five gold medals of six different tournaments locally, and in the U.S. The team even played up into the U15 and won gold at this competitive level. The players love him as a coach and his knowledge and IQ for the game of basketball. We are pretty lucky to have him around.
